Background:
A Lecturer is
qualified to Masters’ level (FQF level 9) and has expertise in a particular
subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
programmes (up to level 8). A Lecturer is research-active and is beginning to
publish their work in peer-reviewed journals. A Lecturer is involved in the
work of their department and takes on administrative roles that assist the
Department to function.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Masters in the relevant field (FQF level 9)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching/work experience OR
Desirable:
The
lecturer should possess a mix of qualities that make them effective both
in the classroom and in a broader educational environment. Here are some
desirable qualities:
- Demonstrable evidence of quality teaching
- Clear evidence of good teaching performance
- Community Service ( contribution to the wider profession)
- Academic Leadership & Collegiality
Salary: FJD49,174.00 gross per annum plus superannuation
