Background:
An Instructor has expertise in a
particular subject which is taught proficiently up to undergraduate level 7. An
Instructor will be beginning to engage with industry to maintain the currency
of his/her qualification and take responsibility for his/her professional
development. An Instructor is involved in the work of their Department and
takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Basic License (LWTR)/ LAME.
- At least 8 years in an approved
aircraft maintenance organization (145C).
- Administrative duties.
- Training of Trainers (TOTs) 1
& 2.
Note: Applicants who do not hold the TOTs certificates must
be willing to upgrade.
- OR Bachelors (Hons) with at least
2 years industry/ teaching experience.
- OR Postgraduate (FQF level 8)
with at least 2 years industry/ teaching experience.
Desirable:
- Basic License / LAME with at
least 1 type rating.
- Is actively engaging with
industry and demonstrates contribution to scholarship.
- University Service
(administration).
- Community Service (contributions
to the wider profession).
Note: While the positions are advertised to be filled on a
