Background: 

An Instructor has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently up to undergraduate level 7. An Instructor will be beginning to engage with industry to maintain the currency of his/her qualification and take responsibility for his/her professional development. An Instructor is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function. 

Person Specification: 

Essential:

• Basic License (LWTR)/ LAME.
• At least 8 years in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (145C).
• Administrative duties.
• Training of Trainers (TOTs) 1 & 2.

Desirable:

• Basic License / LAME with at least 1 type rating.
• Is actively engaging with industry and demonstrates contribution to scholarship.
• University Service (administration).
• Community Service (contributions to the wider profession).

Note: While the positions are advertised to be filled on a full-time basis, applications are encouraged from those who would like to be considered for part time employment as well.
