Background:
To operate effectively as part of a team of academic, technical
and administrative colleagues in order to facilitate learning and the
advancement of knowledge through teaching, training, consultancy and
administration. More specifically, the incumbent is responsible for
carrying out teaching, course co-ordination and curriculum development for all
levels from Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Undergraduate
Degrees as part of development duties and other activities as required at the undergraduate.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Trade Certificate with 12 years of
industry experience OR Trade Diploma (level 5) with 10 years of
industry experience OR Diploma (level 6) with 8 years of
industry/ teaching experience
- Plus, current License or Professional Certification
- Plus, Certificate in Teaching TVET (level
5)/ Cert IV in Training & Assessment/ National Certificate/ Diploma in
Tertiary Teaching/ International Diploma in Tertiary Teaching)
- Administrative duties
Note: Applicants who do not hold the
specified teaching qualification should be willing to upgrade.
Desirable:
- Higher
qualification in the relevant field with at least 3 years of industrial
experience
- Can
teach proficiently at Level 5 & 6 (Diploma level courses)
- Is
actively engaging with industry and demonstrates contribution to scholarship.

Salary: FJD 40,244.00 gross per annum plus superannuation
