Background: 

The Security Support Technician will perform a combination of security design, implementation work, and testing of new products and enhancements to current products. This position will also conduct client penetration and vulnerability testing and reporting.

In addition, be responsible for maintaining the complete ITS Security infrastructure of FNU. This role includes assisting in core access equipment, the IP backbone, and proactive measures to improve operational processes for better productivity and speed of response to stakeholders. The applicant will be required to develop, enhance and promote the corporate image of FNU and ensure that adequate statistics regarding the performance of ITSSECURITY infrastructure is recorded and reported daily as desired by the management. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to be a proactive participating member of the Network System and Security team and contribute to building a skilled ITS SECURITY team focused on customer service & uptime.

Person Specification: 

Essential:

• Bachelor Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or Information Technology)
• CompTIA Security+ CompTIA N+ or security related certification.
• 2 years' experience in IT sector with at least 1 year working in IT security area
• Must possess prior experience in Security information and event management on the enterprise level
• Fundamental understanding of software, computers, and network architecture
• Experience in managing Security Operations Center.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Desirable:

• CCNA Security or CyberOps.
• Certified by reputable IT vendors.
• Experience in managing IT assets.
• Understanding of Security Protocols

Salary: FJD $30,720 plus 10% superannuation.
