Background:

The incumbent will be reporting to the Head of Training Electrical & Electronics Engineering Industry. The Technical Officer will be responsible for delivering quality training, short courses, administration and coordination, and curriculum development for in-service training as requested by the industry.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Craft Apprentice Certificate OR Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant work experience (including up to two years work experience as a craft apprentice).
• Applicants also need to hold Cert IV in TAE OR Certificate in Teaching of TVET (Level 5) AND TOTS 1-4.
• Note: Applicants who do not hold this qualification should be willing to upgrade.

Desirable:

• Higher qualification. 

Salary: FJD32,874 plus 10% superannuation.
