Background:
A Lecturer is qualified to master’s level and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate level. A Lecturer is research active and is beginning to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals, mainly in lower quartile journals. A Lecturer is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Bachelors in Nursing plus a Masters in Nursing/ Masters in a field related to Community Mental Health Nursing.
- 6 years’ full time equivalent relevant clinical practice or university teaching experience.
- Research-active: evidence of work published in peer-reviewed journals OR Industrial/clinical experience in your area of expertise and provide evidence of undertaking consultancies in your area of expertise.
Applicants who do not have a higher qualification should be willing to upgrade.
Salary: FJ$49,174.00 plus 10% superannuation
