Background:

An Assistant Instructor is qualified to teach units up to Level 6 Diploma but is normally not required to develop the curriculum. Assistant Instructors are full members of their department and should be starting to take on limited administrative duties.

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field. 

Desirable:

• Practical experience in at least one aquaculture system: freshwater, brackish water or mariculture.
• Has a good teaching or industrial training record.
• Willingness to contribute to research and community outreach activities.
• Familiarity with modern aquaculture technologies and monitoring systems.
• University or Industry Service (administration).

Salary: FJD$32,875.00 gross per annum plus 10% superannuation
