Background:
The Business Analyst will analyze
business proposals and commercial services at the office of Corporate Services.
The responsibilities include conducting research and analysis to support
investment decisions. This role involves evaluating financial data, market
trends, and economic indicators to identify opportunities and risks. The
analyst will further prepare reports, build financial models, and assist in
portfolio management to help optimize investment performance. Continuous
work involvement with the wider university community and its stakeholders in the
priority area and vision of the university.
Key Challenges (but not limited to):
- The challenge for this
role is to maintain the updated list of requirements and manage projects within
assign time/ budget.
- Managing
effectively with remote teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project
deliverables under the Division of Corporate Services.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in
finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- 5 years’ experience in
investment analysis, financial services, or corporate finance with at least 3
years in similar role.
- Exposure to
institutional investing, fund management & multi portfolio investments.
- Excellent knowledge of
requirements, compliance and ethics.
- Problem-solving
skills.
Desirable:
- A Post Graduate
qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or
related field.
- Knowledge of Fiji’s
financial regulations, Reserve Bank of Fiji guidelines, and ethical investment
practices will have an added advantage.
Salary: FJD$37,096.00 gross per annum plus 10% superannuation
