Background:
To
operate effectively as part of a team of academic, technical and administrative
colleagues in order to facilitate learning and the advancement of knowledge
through teaching, training, consultancy and administration. More specifically,
the incumbent is responsible for carrying out teaching, course co-ordination
and curriculum development for all levels from Certificate, Diploma, Advanced
Diploma and Undergraduate Degrees as part of development duties and other
activities as required at the undergraduate.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- PG Diploma/ Certificate plus Bachelors’
OR Bachelors (Hons) in the relevant field (FQF level 8).
- 2 years industry/ teaching experience.
- Administrative duties.
Desirable:
- Higher
qualification in the relevant field.
- Can
teach proficiently at undergraduate level (FQF Level 7).
- Is
actively engaging with industry and demonstrates contribution to scholarship.
- University
Service (administration).
- Community
Service (contributions to the wider profession).
Note:
The University will take into account the minimum qualification requirements
(MQR) for the position alongside relevant experience and technical expertise
during the recruitment and selection process. All three factors will be
considered during the selection process when reaching a decision.
Salary: FJD40,244.00 gross per annum plus 10% superannuation
