Background:
The
purpose of this position is to provide professional and efficient
administrative support to the department and the department manager. The
administrator will be responsible for advertising and marketing the department
courses, student recruitment and registration, certificate distribution,
department procurement and organizing department events. The administrator acts
as a supervisor’s first point of contact inside and outside of the
organization.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- A
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Management, or Industrial Relations with
some experience in a relevant role will be of added advantage OR
- Diploma
in Commerce, Management, or Industrial Relations with 2 years relevant
work experience.
Desirable:
- Proven
ability to multi-task.
- Strong
analytical, problem-solving, time management, negotiation and
administrative skills.
- Significant
experience in providing administration functions in a fast-moving
environment.
- Previous
experience of working in a university.
- Ability
to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Effective
communication skills, both in writing and in person.
Salary: FJD19,194.00 plus 10% superannuation
