Background:
A Lecturer is qualified to Masters’
level and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at
undergraduate and/or postgraduate level programmes. A Lecturer is
research-active and is beginning to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals.
A Lecturer is involved in the work of their Department and takes on
administrative roles that assist the Department to function.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Master
of Laws OR ten (10) years of practical legal work experience - Post Bar
Admission with teaching experience at the University level.
- Plus,
PG Certificate/Diploma in Laws or Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, or
Professional Diploma in Legal Practice and Bachelor of Laws.
- Provide
evidence of undertaking consultancies in your area of expertise.
Desirable:
- Show
evidence of research outputs.
- Clear
evidence of good teaching performance.
- University
Service (administration).
- Community
Service (contributions to the wider profession).
- Academic Leadership &
Collegiality.
Salary: FJD49,174.00 plus 10% superannuation
