Background: 

The Executive Director of the FNU Foundation provides strategic leadership to drive Fiji National University’s philanthropic and stakeholder engagement efforts. This key role focuses on securing major donations, building corporate partnerships, and strengthening alumni relations to support the university’s mission of serving underserved communities. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director ensures financial sustainability through effective fundraising, transparent financial management, and data-driven decision-making. By fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, the Executive Director enhances the Foundation’s profile and ensures it remains financially robust, mission-focused, and aligned with FNU’s long-term strategic goals.

Key Duties: 

a) Foundation Leadership & Resource Mobilization

b) Alumni Engagement & Advancement

c) Protocol and Ceremonial Coordination

d) Organizational Governance & Operations

e) Strategic Leadership & Institutional Representation

Person Specification: 

  • Master’s qualification with 7-10 years of experience OR Postgraduate qualification with 12 years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 14 years of experience
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, and team management.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for and commitment to the mission of the organization.

Salary: FJD95,189.00 plus 10% superannuation
