Background: 

Assistant lecturers may publish research papers and present their work at conferences, but the primary research activity will be directed to completing their Masters or doctoral requirements. They will be able to teach units, develop teaching materials but are normally not required to develop curriculum. Assistant Lecturers are full members of their department and should be starting to take on limited administrative tasks.

Person Specification: 

Essential:

• Qualification: Bachelor in Nursing and Postgraduate Certificate /Diploma in any Nursing field OR Bachelor in Nursing and PG Diploma in any related health discipline OR Bachelor in Nursing with Graduate Certificate in Tertiary teaching.
• Experience: 3 years full time equivalent relevant clinical practice experience  
• Registration – registered with the Fiji Nursing Council

Salary: FJD 32,874.00.00 gross/annum plus 10% superannuation
