Background A lecturer is qualified to master’s level, and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate level. A lecturer is research active and is beginning to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals, mainly in lower quartile journals. A lecturer is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.
  The appointee will be responsible to the Dean, through the Head of School/Head of Department and will be required to teach Law units at undergraduate level including the marking and reporting of assessments in the area of Law. Activities associated with tutorials, lecturing, exam papers preparation, & marking are to be implemented according to policies and procedures.
Person Specification:
• Master of Laws from a common law jurisdiction with a formal tertiary teaching.
• Research active.
• Able to teach both day and night classes.

• Applicants must also be willing and able to take on any additional administrative and or academic duties as required by the Department, College or University from time to time.
• Show evidence of work published in peer-reviewed journals.

Salary Base salary FJ$42,248 plus 10% superannuation.
