Background The said position works closely with College staff especially administration or support staff and to provide assistance and coordinating for the upgrading, maintenance and ensure that all teaching and learning facilities are in order before classes. This by addressing technology, facility infrastructure, environmental, operational and support issues.
 
The applicant will be responsible for management activities for the CBHTS including:

• Assisting college staff in any administrative work requested by Dean’s Office 
• Assisting students in any query regarding their courses or any sort of assistance requested by students 
• Assisting staff (employee of FNU) especially teaching staff by ensuring that the classrooms are open and ready for use before class commence. This include
• Ensure that all incident/ matters occurs in Nasinu campus are reported to College Dean and OHS team
• Oversees that upgrade process by soliciting, developing and processing classroom upgrade proposal, identifying options and possible solutions and, conducting need assessments and research, prioritizing requests, identifying and documenting upgrade  to be made to each room , refining requested upgrades to conform the University classroom standards
• Participates in the development of classroom technology standards by serving on the University ICT and expertise, assisting in making recommendations for hardware, software, presentation system, media device, infrastructure and other components that needed to be used in the teaching rooms.
• Communicating with other departments involved in the upgrade process of any classrooms that needed to be done
• Ensure that all classroom technology is appropriately utilized and properly supported by assisting in the development of training and orientation programs, documentation materials, service procedures, reference materials, and other resources to effectively support operational systems, building specs, and end users.
• Assist in supervision of labs and manages the resources, operations, student personnel and equipment for those labs.
• Remains competent and current through self –directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses and attending training and/or courses required by the College Dean 
• Contribute to overall success of the College by performing all other duties assigned.

 
Person Specification:

Essential:
• Diploma in relevant field with at least 1 year of work experience OR Certificate in relevant field with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Desirable:
• Applicant must be able to work extra hours as when required. 
• Excellent problem solving, presentation, organisational and analytical skills; communication and interpersonal skills; and possess a professional and proactive attitude with pleasant personality.
• Must have excellent Microsoft word, power point skills, student software (Premium) skills and Microsoft Skills. 
• Applicant must be able to know all the different criteria for student enrolment and graduation and be able to work in any campus when asked to do so.

Salary Wage rate $4.50/hr plus 10% superannuation.
