Background The Instructor telecommunication will play an active role in the academic direction of programs in the networking and telecommunication engineering courses. Activities will include teaching, research, academic assessment and academic administration.  More specifically, the incumbent is responsible for carrying out teaching and course co-ordination for all levels from Certificate, Diploma and undergraduate degrees as part of development duties and other activities as required at the undergraduate levels. The successful applicant must have a wide experience in the application and operation of network & telecommunication technology its associated software systems.
The person we are looking for must have extensive knowledge and practical experience in radio frequency engineering technology and RF spectrum management and regulations.
The appointee will also be expected to carry out course development, involving the improvement of current units, and the creation and delivery of units relevant to the various programmes offered throughout the University.
In addition to teaching, the appointee will be expected to carry out research and consultancy work leading to papers being presented at international conferences and publications in academic books and journals

Person Specification
•  Relevant good  honors degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering majoring in telecommunications.

Salary Base salary $36,999.00 plus 10% superannuation.
