Background The Tutor will play an active role in the academic direction (delivery)of units in the FNU CISCO Academy and network engineering including teaching, research, academic assessment and academic administration.  More specifically, the incumbent is responsible for carrying out tutorship and course co-ordination for Certificate. The successful applicant must have a wide experience in the application and operation of network technology and its associated software systems.
  The School of Electrical Engineering is seeking a tutor in CISCO.  The appointee will be expected to conduct tutorials for the CISCO units presently offered at the School of Electrical, Derrick Campus and should hold Cisco Instructor Certification (CCNA) level IV along with CCNA certification in IPv6 and should be able to plan, conduct and assess networking practical assessments. In addition to tutoring, the appointee will be expected to carry out extra curriculum duties relevant and essential to the school’s everyday operation
Person Specification 
•  Diploma in Electronics (Telecom & Networking) with CCNA 1 to 4 
•  Should have CISCO Trainer Certification

•  Higher qualification
•  Applicants with work/teaching experience will have an added advantage.

The tutor is expected to demonstrate the capacity to undertake independent tutoring and assessment in a CISCO Networking Academy at the level of proficiency required by CISCO standards

Salary Base salary of $19,841.00 plus 10% superannuation.
