Background The Fixed Asset and Board of Survey Coordinator is required to provide admin support to all finance staff by performing administrative duties, such as conducting/ checking of data entry, preparing disposal/verification documents for the Manager/Director and analyse reports. The incumbent is also responsible to ensure that all activities associated with fixed asset section are in readiness, and the daily business of the office is efficient and productive
 
The Fixed Asset and Board of Survey Coordinator will assist in the management of the following tasks at Finance:
•  Physically performing the day-to-day duties for the smooth flow of all operations concerned to the department
•  Ensure that the service of the department to its members is efficient and productive.
•  Assist in the monthly reconciliation and timely disposal of Fixed Assets.
•  Assist the immediate supervisor in meeting the deadlines set and achieving the goals of the department and the division, the latter being the overall objective or the mission of the University.
•  Advises staff and employees on queries submitted
•  Be a team player and take responsibilities of all departmental operations
•  Ensure that deadlines are met.
•  Assist the Manager/Director in compiling reports as and when required
•  Verify each document dispatched from the office and take responsibility of any misunderstanding or errors of documents dispatched.
•  Prepare timely departmental reports and submit to the supervisor.
•  Analyze all reports prepared by department staffs and ensure they are consistent and accurate

 
Person Specification:
Essential
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR Finance 

Desirable 
•  Applicants must have strong communication skills, handling of data and creating of reports. 
•  Must be self-driven, result oriented and able to set and meet deadlines.

Salary Base salary of $17,922.00 plus 10% superannuation.
